Overview:

ULimo is seeking ambitious and relationship-driven Business Development Interns to help expand our network of partners, venues, universities, organizations, and strategic collaborators. As a Business Development Intern, you will work directly with startup leadership to identify growth opportunities, build partnerships, and help drive expansion initiatives.

This role is ideal for students interested in business development, entrepreneurship, sales, partnerships, consulting, startup operations, and strategic growth. Interns will gain valuable experience working in a fast-paced startup environment while helping scale a disruptive marketplace platform.

 

Responsibilities:

-Identify and research potential venues, organizations, universities, and business partners.

-Conduct outreach to prospective partners through email, phone calls, social media, and networking platforms.

-Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing partners.

-Assist with developing partnership proposals and presentations.

-Support negotiations and onboarding efforts for new partners.

-Research market trends, competitors, and expansion opportunities.

-Collaborate with leadership to develop growth strategies and partnership initiatives.

-Track outreach efforts and maintain accurate records within company systems.

 

Qualifications:

-Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Public Relations, or a related field.

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

-Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

-Comfortable with outreach, networking, and professional communication.

-Experience with Google Workspace, Notion, CRM platforms, or other workflow tools is a plus.

-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

-A welcoming, team-first attitude.

-Previous business development, sales, or partnership experience is desirable but not required.
