ROLE OVERVIEW

The On-Air Host is the face of Inside The Hashes on camera. You host video segments, TikTok content, opinion pieces, and live event coverage. This role requires natural charisma, football intelligence, and the ability to consistently deliver engaging on-camera content.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Host video segments for YouTube, TikTok, and social media on football topics, analysis, and opinion
  • Deliver signing grade breakdowns, predictions, and fan-interactive content on camera
  • Cover live events on location — sideline reporting, player interactions, and event recaps
  • Collaborate with the video production team on content format and delivery
  • Maintain consistent on-camera presence — energy, professionalism, and football knowledge
  • Engage with audience comments and build a community around ITH content
  • Pitch original content ideas based on current football news and trends

QUALIFICATIONS — REQUIRED

  • Strong, natural on-camera presence — charisma and confidence are non-negotiable
  • Deep football knowledge — you need to back up every take with facts
  • Ability to speak clearly and concisely — TikTok moves fast
  • Professional appearance and conduct at all times when representing ITH
  • Demo reel or prior on-camera video required
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
  • Able to receive academic credit for the internship through your institution
  • Strong work ethic, reliable, and deadline-driven
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting
  • Passionate about football — high school, college, and NFL
  • Professional communication skills — Slack and email primarily
  • Must download and use Slack and Notion for team communication

QUALIFICATIONS — PREFERRED

  • Prior broadcast, YouTube, or social media hosting experience
  • Existing audience or following in the sports space
  • Ability to host live content — TikTok Live, Instagram Live, event coverage
  • Sports broadcasting or communications major

ABOUT INSIDE THE HASHES

Inside The Hashes LLC is a nationally recognized football media company covering the sport at every level — high school, college, NFL Draft, and the pros — since 2018. We have conducted 400+ player interviews, including 95+ current NFL players and 46 current college players. We have been credentialed at the Reese's Senior Bowl, NFL Combine, Elite 11 Finals, IMG Academy, Navy All-American Bowl, OT7 Nationals, and the Corky Kell Classic at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Former ITH contributors have gone on to work at major news networks, sports outlets, and ESPN. This internship offers real credentials, real published work, and real access to professional football.


 This is an unpaid internship position. The intern is the primary beneficiary of this relationship. All work performed is educational in nature and designed to complement the intern's academic training. Interns work under direct supervision and do not displace paid employees. College credit facilitation is available through your institution
