Assistant Teacher

The Beanstalk Academy has been a family-owned and operated nursery school in Landing, NJ, for over 30 years. We are looking for an assistant teacher to join our staff. Our school’s children range from 1 year to 6 years old, as our Nursery School includes a Kindergarten. Duties for this role will include assisting other teachers in implementing the classroom's daily curriculum, activities, and routines. Providing appropriate communication with parents, helping students with their activities, and maintaining an orderly and safe classroom environment. Must be reliable, team-oriented, and enjoy working with young children. Hours will vary depending on the applicant's availability. Monday through Friday hours available. This position is great for a local parent or someone pursuing a career in education. We are willing to accommodate schedule differences.
