Brand Operations & Retail Manager
About This Role
This is a highly collaborative, hands-on leadership role working directly with the founder across retail operations, community and events, content support, and brand growth. Our storefront is intentionally small and curated — this is not a traditional high-volume retail management role. It's a brand operations role with real creative and community reach.
There is real room to grow here — into community programming, marketing, creative direction, and beyond — for the person who wants it. MEAS is small enough that your fingerprints will be all over it. We want someone who is excited about that.
Customer Experience + Community
- Build genuine relationships and deliver an elevated customer experience — in-store, online, and in the community
- Respond to customer emails, DMs, and inquiries across all channels
- Support partnerships, collaborations, in-store events, and activations that drive foot traffic and grow the MEAS community
Store Operations + Team Leadership
- Own daily store operations — opening and closing, visual merchandising, cleanliness, and overall store standards
- Manage, coach, and delegate to part-time team members
- Drive sales goals and customer retention
Fulfillment + Inventory
- Oversee fulfillment, online orders, inventory, and receiving with accuracy and care
Social Media + Content Support
- Partner with founder on weekly content planning and capture — product pulls, props, styling assist, stills, b-roll, and behind-the-scenes
- Support periodic photoshoot prep and execution
- Manage community engagement through comments and DMs
Ideal Candidate
- Retail experience required — boutique, fitness studio, hospitality, or lifestyle brand preferred
- Relationship-driven, customer-obsessed, and confident in-store and online
- Organized, proactive, and self-motivated — you don't need to be told what needs doing
- Passionate about fashion, fitness, or wellness and aligned with the MEAS brand
- Social media savvy and comfortable capturing content on iPhone
- Excited by community, brand growth, and creative collaboration
Compensation + Benefits

Starting Pay$18.25–18.50/hr (~$38K annually)Candidates with proven retail management experience will be considered at a higher starting rate.
- Growth Path
- 3–6 MonthsPath to $20–20.25/hr (~$42K) as performance benchmarks are hit, plus monthly performance bonus (up to $150/month)
- 12 MonthsExpanded compensation with bonus potential for a strong performer
- Hours Full-time, 35–40 hrs/week
- Availability Friday and Saturday required. Weekend flexibility based on team coverage and store performance.
