Immigration Legal Assistant

Thenor Law LLC is seeking a motivated Intern or Legal Assistant to join our growing immigration law practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with immigration law experience or an individual who is eager to gain hands-on experience in the field of immigration law.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation and filing of immigration applications and petitions, including asylum applications, family-based petitions, adjustment of status applications, work permit applications, and other immigration matters.
• Gather, organize, and review supporting documents.
• Communicate with clients regarding case updates and document requests.
• Draft correspondence, affidavits, and other legal documents.
• Maintain case files and ensure deadlines are met.
• Conduct legal and factual research as needed.
• Assist attorneys with case preparation for interviews and court proceedings.
