Social Media Intern
Job Description:
Sole Inspired is a Charlotte-based greeting card and gift company that creates products celebrating movement, wellness, encouragement, and human connection. We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Marketing Intern to help grow our brand presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest.
This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in social media marketing, content creation, digital storytelling, e-commerce, and small business operations.
Responsibilities:
- Create and schedule 3 social media posts per week
- Develop 2 short-form videos/reels per week for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Assist with content planning and monthly content calendars
- Write engaging captions and identify relevant hashtags
- Monitor social media engagement and provide basic analytics
- Research trends, sounds, and content ideas that align with our brand
- Help identify opportunities to increase brand awareness and sales
Qualifications:
- Current college student or recent graduate pursuing Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field
- Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Canva
- Strong written communication skills
- Creative thinker with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Interest in small businesses, wellness, fitness, or lifestyle brands is a plus
Position Details:
- Part-time
- Flexible hours
- Remote with occasional meetings as needed
- 60-day trial period with potential for ongoing work
- Portfolio or examples of social media work preferred
