What you'll do:
- Edit finished podcast episodes (straightforward — I provide the cuts)
- Create clips for YouTube and X from timestamps I specify
- Reformat clips into vertical format for Reels and Shorts (split-screen/stacked speaker layout)
- Caption clips for consistency across platforms
What you need: Basic-to-solid video editing (CapCut or similar), willingness to learn our workflow, reliability, and genuine interest in the science. No professional experience required — I'll train the right person.
Ongoing, not seasonal: This is a continuing part-time role for students with bandwidth during the school year, not just a summer gig.
Growth: Clear path to full post-production manager — owning clip selection, thumbnail design, and the content pipeline — as you prove yourself.
Pay: Can increase with skill and responsibility.
