Senior Structural Engineer

Building Technology Consultants, Inc. (BTC) is looking to add a Senior Structural Engineer to our Team!

BTC is an employee-owned consulting firm specializing in forensic evaluation and repair of building enclosure components, structural systems, and architectural elements.

We employ Licensed Structural Engineers, Licensed Professional Engineers, Registered Building Enclosure Consultants, Registered Roof Consultant, Registered Exterior Wall Consultants, Registered Waterproofing Consultants, Certified Construction Specifiers, Certified Construction Contract Administrators, Certified Document Technologists, Registered Roof Observers, LEED Accredited Professionals, Certified Level 1 Thermographers, Certified Concrete Slab Moisture Testing Technicians, and Certified Concrete Field Testing Technician.

Position Requirements:

§    4-8 years of structural design and analysis experience

§    Familiarity with field work at project sites

§    Possess an Illinois Structural Engineer license or able to acquire their license within 2 6 months.

§    Ability and interest to mentor junior staff
