Mobile Therapist - Community School Based Behavioral Health Team
Scranton Counseling Center has an immediate opening for mental health professionals/MT's to work as lead clinicians of multidisciplinary teams in area elementary, middle/intermediate and high schools, working with children, families, and school district staff, and provide direction and clinical oversight for behavioral health technicians working as part of the team. Responsibilities include completion of child assessments and crisis intervention as necessary, development and monitoring of individual child treatment plans, review and revision of treatment objectives.
The position requires completion of a clinical or mental health direct service practicum and have a graduate degree with at least 9 credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work, education, counseling, or a related field from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the US department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
