Audio Engineer / Podcast Production Assistant (Part-Time Gig)
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Must be available this Saturday at 4:00 PM
We are looking for an Audio Engineer / Podcast Production Assistant to help launch and support a new podcast studio in Brooklyn.
This is a great opportunity for students or aspiring audio professionals looking to gain hands-on experience in podcast production, recording, editing, and studio operations.
Responsibilities
- Set up audio and video equipment for podcast recordings
- Monitor audio levels during recording sessions
- Edit and chop podcast episodes into short-form content for social media
- Export and organize audio/video files
- Assist guests and hosts during recording sessions
- Help maintain a clean and organized studio environment
Qualifications
- Familiarity with podcast recording equipment and microphones
- Experience with audio editing software (Adobe Audition, Premiere Pro, Audacity, Descript, or similar)
- Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Interest in media, podcasting, content creation, or production
Preferred
- Experience editing podcasts or social media clips
- Basic video editing skills
- Interest in content creation, entrepreneurship, or digital media
Compensation
- $20 per hour
