Seeking a highly motivated and qualified recent college graduate who is seeking a career in law and is planning on attending law school.

Experience requirements:

  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Must understand legal procedures and terminology
  • An understanding of calendaring and court filing systems
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a law clerk or administrative legal support role
  • Investigative mind and strong research skills
  • Working knowledge of legal database software
  • Microsoft Office: 2 years

Position Description:

  • Manage calendar and keep track of changes in legal framework and provide timely updates
  • Organize and track files for important transactions or case documents
  • Support the attorneys as they prepare cases for trial
  • Prepare and file documents with courts
  • Compile and organize trial binders and exhibits
  • Other similar or related duties which may not be specifically included within the position description

Job Type: Part-time

Benefits:

  • $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
  • Paid time off

Schedule:

  • 4 - 5-hour shifts, preferably afternoons but will provide flexibility around a school schedule
  • Monday to Friday
