Social Media Intern
We are seeking a creative, organized, and social media-savvy intern to help grow our online presence. This position is ideal for a student or recent graduate interested in marketing, communications, content creation, public relations, or digital media.
The Social Media Management Intern will assist with creating and posting content, researching trends, engaging with followers, and helping expand the reach of a nationally recognized speaker, author, and relationship educator.
This is a remote position with flexible hours.
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts
- Schedule and publish content across social media platforms
- Research trending topics, audio, hashtags, and content ideas
- Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages
- Engage with followers and relevant accounts to increase visibility
- Assist with content planning and maintaining a content calendar
- Track basic social media analytics and growth metrics
- Repurpose existing content into multiple social media posts
Qualifications
- Active social media user with knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube
- Familiarity with CapCut, Canva, or similar editing tools
- Strong written communication skills
- Creative, organized, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Interest in marketing, communications, media, public health, higher education, relationships, wellness, or advocacy is a plus
