About WeKruit
We're rewiring how startups hire.
Most recruiting software feels like it was designed by a committee and abandoned in 2016. We think hiring products should feel fast, intuitive, and genuinely enjoyable to use.
We're looking for a designer who obsesses over details. Someone who notices when spacing is off by 2 pixels. Someone who cares just as much about whether a user succeeds as whether the interface looks beautiful.
If you spend your free time collecting design inspiration, rebuilding products for fun, or debating typography choices with friends, keep reading.
What You'll Build
- Design end-to-end product experiences — from rough ideas and wireframes to polished interfaces used by real customers
- Create intuitive workflows that make hiring and job searching dramatically simpler
- Shape the visual language of WeKruit across product, web, and brand touchpoints
- Build and evolve a scalable design system that balances consistency, flexibility, and craftsmanship
- Create landing pages, marketing experiences, and launch assets that feel as polished as the product itself
- Conduct lightweight user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions to uncover insights quickly
- Work closely with engineers to ensure designs ship exactly as intended
- Help define what great AI-native recruiting experiences should look and feel like
Your Design Toolkit
- Product Design: User flows, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, interaction design
- UI Design: Figma — components, variables, auto-layout, design systems, developer handoff
- Visual Design: Typography, layout, hierarchy, color systems, iconography, illustration
- Motion: Micro-interactions, transitions, prototypes, Lottie, Framer, Rive, or similar tools
- Research: User interviews, usability testing, journey mapping, rapid validation
- AI-Assisted Design: ChatGPT, Midjourney, Runway, Firefly, and emerging creative tools
What We're Looking For
- A portfolio that demonstrates both visual craft and product thinking
- Degree or equivalent experience in Product Design, Interaction Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or a related field
- Deep fluency in Figma — components, variants, prototyping, design systems, and developer collaboration
- Strong visual instincts — typography, spacing, composition, and hierarchy feel natural to you
- Solid understanding of UX fundamentals, accessibility, and user-centered design
- Ability to simplify complex workflows into experiences that feel obvious and effortless
- You've shipped something real — a product, startup, side project, redesign, or anything with actual users
- High agency — you identify problems and start solving them before someone assigns them
Bonus Points
- Motion design experience with Framer, Rive, Lottie, or After Effects
- Illustration skills or a distinctive visual style
- Startup experience or involvement in a 0→1 product
- Experience designing AI-powered products, SaaS tools, or data-heavy interfaces
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge and comfort collaborating closely with engineers
- You actively use AI tools as part of your design workflow
- You have a habit of redesigning products in your head whenever you use them
