Soul Discovery Mental Health Counseling is seeking candidates to provide psychotherapy to clients. Position responsibilities include, individual, family, couples and/or group counseling, complete necessary documentation and coordinate care as needed. Thorough understanding of DSM-V mental health diagnoses and treatment approaches for adults, adolescents and children. Soul Discovery Mental Health Counseling provides a therapeutic and non-judgmental atmosphere for individuals to engage in their wellness journey and work towards developing a life worth living. We specialize in providing individual, group, and family psychotherapy. We utilize a person-centered approach and apply different treatment modalities as clinically indicated i.e., DBT, EMDR, and CBT. At Soul Discovery Mental Health Counseling, we are seeking for creative, energetic individuals who enjoy working with a multi-cultural population. A successful candidate will also enjoy working with individuals from teens to adulthood.

Skills

Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or LMSW.  Licensed by the State of New York required. Excellent writing skills, ability to submit documentation on a set timeline, work independently and computer skills. DBT or EMDR trained clinicians as well as Bilingual- Spanish, highly desirable.

Notes

Independent contractor (Fee for Service) position with no benefits or W2. Minimal paperwork and no billing responsibilities. Flexible hours and schedule include daytime, evening and weekends hours available.
