Wireless Customer Service Representative

Crescendo Consultings, Inc. is a San Diego–based sales and business consulting firm dedicated to closing the connectivity gap through government-supported programs. As a Wireless Customer Service Representative, you’ll help residents through complete enrollment, securing no-cost phones and essential data for seniors, students, and low-income families.

As a Wireless Customer Service Representative, you serve as a bridge to essential connectivity. In community settings, your empathetic sales consultations help residents understand the benefits of the program. The Wireless Customer Service Representative is key to converting local interest into secure, high-value service accounts through genuine in-person communication.

Key Responsibilities of the Wireless Customer Service Representative

  • Promote awareness of government-funded wireless and data programs in-person, highlighting the reliable connectivity benefits they offer for underserved households.
  • Assess community communication needs to recommend service tiers that support healthcare access, job searches, and emergency services.
  • Guide residents through enrollment and activation, ensuring accurate agreements, eligibility verification, and account setup in sales platforms.
  • Explain the advantages of modern wireless technology, including high‑speed data, nationwide coverage, and consistent reliability across devices.
  • Verify documentation and compliance standards to safeguard customer information and support seamless transitions into subsidized plans.
  • Collaborate with Wireless Customer Service Representatives to refine strategies, expand program adoption, and strengthen community trust in San Diego neighborhoods.

Minimum Qualifications of the Wireless Customer Service Representative

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s in Social Work, Marketing, or Communications preferred but not required.
  • Experience in customer support, retail, sales, or community outreach, with the ability to assist with smartphones, wireless data plans, and connectivity solutions.
  • Strong communication skills to explain mobile data packages and program eligibility clearly, with empathy and community focus.
  • Technical proficiency with data systems, sales platforms, and mobile operating systems to manage accounts, track metrics, and ensure compliance.
  • Compassionate, mission‑driven mindset with the discipline to thrive in a community‑focused environment, promoting equitable access to wireless and data services.
