B2B Sales Rep (Remote Available)
Apex Advisors is a specialized tax advisory firm providing services to businesses nationwide. We specialize in assisting companies qualify and obtain various state and federal tax credits and incentives, with a focus on the Research and Development Tax Credit.  Basically, we’re in the business of getting our clients money back from the government by lowering their corporate and individual tax liability. Responsibilities

The goal of this position is to identify prospects and promote our tax credit services to businesses within the manufacturing, engineering, architecture, software, biotech and defense industries. The target audience includes CFOs, Finance Directors, Controllers and CEOs. Business Development Directors are expected to make outbound cold-calls on a daily basis and conduct over-the-phone or online presentations to prospects as necessary.
This position will be responsible for achieving monthly new business sales goals as defined in the Incentive Compensation Plan, and the Business Development Directors are expected to document activity in the Client Retention Management (CRM) system for proper compensation identification as well as proper planning. 

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma and at least 2 years B2B sales experience required.
  • Strong relationship management and business development skills.
  • Capable of directly communicating with high level professionals.
  • Experience working independently in an office environment or in a remote capacity.
  • Basic computer (Excel, Word, PDF) and Internet research skills.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Working knowledge of financial documents, tax returns.
  • Working knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, software and/or architecture industries.
  • Previous tax credit, accounting and/or finance-related sales experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay, Benefits and Work Schedule

  • This position has strong bonus potential achieved based on monthly activity success.  The estimated annual compensation (base plus bonuses) is calculated based on minimal activity requirements based on metrics analysis.      If Business Development Directors enjoy success beyond base expectations, bonus compensation will reflect that success.  Apex Advisors also offers the opportunity to grow within our organization.
