Adult Discipleship Administrative Assistant

POSITION: Adult Discipleship Administrative Assistant    

REPORTS TO:  Pastor/Director of Adult Discipleship    

ROLE TYPE:  Part-time, Non-exempt   

HOURLY EXPECTATION: At least 20 hours per week   

General Description 

The Adult Discipleship Administrative Assistant is a part-time position and will provide a wide range of administrative support required for the Adult Discipleship ministries of Chapelstreet Church.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing administrative tasks such as calendar management, room scheduling, attendance tracking, mailing and printing
  • Maintaining accurate information in church management systems
  • Draft and distribute emails and other communication for the department
  • Ordering and maintaining curriculum and supplies for adult discipleship ministries
  • Support preparations for Adult Discipleship training events, and other large group meetings
  • Attend and help execute these meetings as necessary
  • Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and reimbursements  Performing other tasks as requested

  • Ability to enhance positive team environment built on compassion, creativity, innovation, communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Highly relational. Capable of working positively with other ministry leaders, and volunteers

Pay Rates: This is a part-time, non-exempt position with an hourly rate range of $15.50 - $17.00. The rate is based on experience, education, and skills. With tenure and performance experience, compensation may exceed the published range.
