Business Operations Associate 

North Capital is a financial services and financial technology company operating at the intersection of broker dealer services, custody, escrow, and private market infrastructure. We are hiring an Operations Associate to support the operations team across a wide range of areas. This position will report directly to the Head of Operations. We are seeking a candidate who is highly organized, has a good working knowledge of Excel, and can perform tasks with efficiency. Previous experience in finance/accounting, customer support, Hubspot, DocuSign, and project management would be helpful but is not mandatory. We are seeking someone who has an interest in developing processes and who is willing to provide operational support to many different departments. This role requires high attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and data as well as strong verbal and written communication skills. This is a full-time position located in our Salt Lake City (Midvale), Utah office.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the escrow and custody operations team - this will include participating in and managing mission-critical projects/reconciliations, organizing and maintaining records and files, responding to customer support tickets, escrow data-entry/maintenance and daily escrow/banking uploads to the North Capital escrow system.
  • Support the customer support team - this will include pulling reports and reconciling information across different systems. This will also include providing customer support and managing ticket queues.
  • Overall data maintenance - review and clean up logs and tracking.
  • Identifying potential weaknesses in processes and coming up with solutions to improve the process. Offer ideas and develop strategies to improve operational efficiency.
  • Input and track data in Excel with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Communicate with clients and assist them where needed.
  • Other duties as assigned, including tasks to assist the operations teams.
  • Willingness to research technical and industry subjects and take initiative to complete any assigned office tasks.

  • Extremely detail oriented and solutions-focused
  • Ability to follow a specific process without fail each and every working day
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to analyze information and apply methodical steps to review data
  • (Preferred but not required) Experience using Google Suite, DropBox, Hubspot, DocuSign, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Mac environment.

Ability to maintain confidential information

Reliable self-starter with a strong work ethic and eager to learn new skills. When in charge of a project, it is completed on time.

Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred

This position is based in Midvale, Utah. Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis is required. Salary range $60,000-$70,000 per year, depending on experience. Please email resume and cover letter to recruiting@northcapital.com
