Position Summary
The Marketing Team member supports the development and execution of Kate's Real Food marketing, branding, and creative initiatives across digital, retail, trade, and consumer channels. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate who is passionate about marketing, design, storytelling, and healthy food brands.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Marketing Team member will assist with content creation, social media, packaging updates, sales support materials, marketing campaigns, retail promotions, and brand communications. The role provides broad exposure to consumer packaged goods (CPG) marketing and offers opportunities for professional growth within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand Support
- Assist in planning, executing, and tracking integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, retail, and trade channels.
- Support content creation and scheduling for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.
- Coordinate email marketing campaigns, promotional communications, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Monitor campaign performance and assist with reporting on key metrics, customer engagement, and marketing effectiveness.
- Conduct market research, consumer trend analysis, and competitor monitoring to identify opportunities for brand growth.
- Support influencer, ambassador, partnership, and community marketing programs.
- Assist with event planning, trade shows, sampling programs, and brand activations.
Creative & Design Support
- Create and update marketing collateral including sales sheets, presentations, retail displays, digital advertisements, social media graphics, and promotional materials.
- Assist with packaging updates, product launch materials, and creative asset development.
- Help maintain brand standards, visual guidelines, and digital asset libraries.
- Support photography, video, and visual content projects, including image selection, organization, and basic editing.
- Coordinate creative projects with external vendors, printers, photographers, agencies, and freelancers as needed.
- Ensure creative materials remain consistent with Kate's Real Food brand identity and messaging.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Operations, Product Development, and Leadership teams to support company initiatives.
- Assist with new product launches and commercialization efforts through marketing and creative support.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
- Maintain organized project files, marketing calendars, artwork archives, and campaign documentation.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with an eye for design, branding, and storytelling.
- Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Canva.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing best practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote work environment.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Preferred
- Internship, campus leadership, freelance, or project experience related to marketing, design, communications, or social media.
- Experience creating content for social media or digital marketing campaigns.
- Knowledge of email marketing platforms, Google Analytics, or marketing automation tools.
- Interest in consumer packaged goods (CPG), natural foods, wellness, outdoor lifestyles, or sustainability.
- Photography, video editing, or content creation experience is a plus.

Reporting Relationship
Reports to the Marketing Director and collaborates closely with Sales, Operations, Product Development, Leadership, and external creative partners.
Work Environment
This is a remote position requiring effective collaboration through virtual communication and project management tools. Periodic travel may be required for team meetings, trade shows, retail visits, product launches, content creation sessions, and other company events.
