English as a Second Language Teacher
Please be advised that the following position is available for the 2026-2027 school year
English as a Second Language Teacher
- Permanent Full Time Contracted Position effective for the 2026-2027 school year
- Valid PA Certification in English as a Second Language (ESL) required
- PA Certification in Spanish preferred as an additional certification
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency preferred
- Assignment will be determined annually based on student enrollment and program needs
- Demonstrated expertise in instructional practices that support multilingual learners and promote academic success.
- Strong understanding of the academic, linguistic, social, and cultural needs of multilingual learners.
- Ability to foster cultural awareness and inclusivity within the school community
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage students, families, colleagues, and community stakeholders
- Ability to collaborate as a member of a multidisciplinary team and build positive professional relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse individuals
- Excellent references required
