Special Education Teacher

Dates: September 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027

Job Description: Special Education Teacher

Qualifications:

  • Holds or is eligible for a New Jersey instructional certificate with appropriate teaching endorsement.
  • Experience working in LLD or Autism classroom settings preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities for students with disabilities.
  • Experience with Life Skills based activities preferred.
  • Creative and innovative approaches to supporting students and building programs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of subject matter.
  • Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.

Compensation: Following the established salary guide ranging from $64,489.00 to $101,795.00, commensurate with experience.

  • Enrollment in the New Jersey Pension System is subject to term/status of the position.
