Social Media Manager

We are looking for a part time social media manager for a private Christian School.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate understands both strategy and execution — someone who can manage day-to-day social media operations while also contributing creative ideas that support brand growth and audience engagement
  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for brands or businesses
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube best practices
  • Familiarity with short-form content strategy and engagement trends
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable collaborating directly with ownership in person
  • Candidates must be located in the Fort Lauderdale FL area

Benefits

  • Pay: $15 per hour

Responsibilities

  • The Social Media Manager will oversee content planning, publishing, engagement, and audience growth across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube
  • Candidates must be currently located in Ft. Lauderdale area and available to work in person with the owner for content planning, filming coordination, creative sessions, and ongoing collaboration
  • Develop and manage social media content calendars
  • Schedule and publish content across multiple social platforms
  • Work directly with ownership during content shoots and creative sessions
  • Coordinate with editors on film edits and post-production content
  • Monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages when appropriate
  • Analyze social media performance metrics and optimize content strategy
  • Identify trends, viral opportunities, and platform best practices
  • Maintain brand consistency across all channels
  • Assist with short-form video planning and execution
  • Support audience growth and brand visibility initiatives
