Contract Assembler

Medivis is a New York City-based medical technology company leveraging the power of augmented reality to enhance surgical procedures, improve patient outcomes and transform the healthcare industry as a whole.

About the role:

Contract Assembler is a hands-on operations role responsible for assembling Medivis disposables and workstations, supporting the disposables manufacturing operation, helping coordinate logistics and shipments, and contributing to general office and facility management. 

Well suited for a student or recent grad with a technical background, but open to anyone with the right skills.

Core Responsibilities

• Assemble disposables and workstations per written instructions; provide feedback to improve those instructions.
• Crate and pack shipments for demos and fulfillments; assist with shipment coordination.
• Maintain the demo room to ensure readiness at all times. 
• Support general organization around the office.

Qualifications

• Student or recent grad, ideally with a technical background (engineering, manufacturing, life sciences, design, or similar).
• Detail-oriented, enthusiastic, reliable; strong listener and a critical thinker who can flag issues proactively.
• Able to lift and move heavy items (up to ~50 lbs) and work on-site in NYC.

Compensation

$30/hour, part-time (expected 5-10 hours per week)
