Data Center Technician

Duties:
- Lift heavy objects and materials, following proper safety guidelines
- Rack and/or Un-racking computer switches and servers as requested by the customer
- Operate pallet jacks to move materials within the Data Center, warehouse and loading       doc
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading trucks

- Unbox hardware, safely stack on plastic pallets, inventory hardware and move it from dock to the designated area and tarp all the material to protect from dust.

- Breakdown and flatten the cardboard boxes and dispose of them into the trash dumpsters.

- Remove empty wooden empty pallets and move them to the designated dumpster

- Rack - Stack Computer Equipment as requested by the customer

Requirements:
- Data Center experience
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Ability to operate pallet jacks safely and efficiently

-Ability to pull cable runs of various types of copper and fiber cables

-Ability to make connections to various computer and communications equipment

-Ability to rack and stack various computer and communications equipment
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment

-Experience using common hand tools.

-Experience using various cable and fiber test tools

-Provide personal transportation
