Production Technician
This is a workshop, not a desk job. You will be on your feet, moving materials, and handling cleanup as part of the normal workflow. We need someone who takes pride in the whole job, not just the interesting parts.
You will be Operating and monitoring 3D printers and CNC routing and wire machines, Assisting with design-to-production workflows, Working with Foam, composite materials, and customer fabricated parts. Managing foam scrap after cutting operations, bagging, organizing, and keeping the production area clean and functional. You will also be moving and handling materials as needed throughout the shop floor and supporting the full production cycle from setup to cleanup as well as troubleshooting equipment and helping refine output quality, contributing ideas to improve processes and efficiency.
What Makes This Different
Real equipment, real projects, not coffee runs (unless you need it) or data entry. You will learn the whole operation, not just one small piece of it. We are a small team environment where your contributions actually matter. We have flexible hours and can work around your school hours.
What We Are Looking For
A good attitude about doing whatever the job needs - whether that is running equipment or just sweeping the floor.
Someone good with math and spatial/geometric thinking.
Someone able to lift and move materials and work on your feet for extended periods (but we have chairs at every computer station).
Prior hands-on fabrication experience is a plus but not required.
We are a small team and personality matters as much or even more than credentials.
