What You'll Do
- Lead engaging coding and technology classes for K–12 students
- Create a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment
- Teach coding concepts using the provided curriculum and lesson plans
- Help students build confidence in problem-solving, creativity, and computational thinking
- Adapt instruction to different ages, skill levels, and learning styles
- Monitor student progress and provide encouragement, feedback, and support
- Keep students motivated through interactive projects and hands-on activities
- Collaborate effectively with students, parents, school staff, and Learn2Code.Live team members
- Share classroom insights and feedback to help improve the student experience
- Arrive prepared, organized, and ready to deliver an exceptional class experience
What We're Looking For
- Computer Science students, recent graduates, or individuals with strong coding experience
- Experience with one or more of the following:
- Python
- Java
- JavaScript
- HTML/CSS
- C/C++
- Scratch
- Robotics platforms such as LEGO, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or Micro
- Comfortable using technology and troubleshooting basic technical issues
- Strong communication and classroom leadership skills
- Ability to think creatively and keep students engaged and excited about learning
- Patient, adaptable, and supportive teaching style
- Comfortable working with elementary, middle school, and high school students
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Prior teaching, tutoring, mentoring, camp, or youth program experience is a plus—but not required
