The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) is seeking a talented individual to join the Office of the General Counsel, Ethics Law Division as a Supervisory Attorney Adviser, GS-15. The Ethics Law Division manages the agency's ethics program.
Under the direction of the Associate General Counsel for Ethics, the Supervisory Attorney manages and administers GSA's Ethics Program. Responsibilities of the position are as follows:
Supervises Ethics Law Division staff and ensures the provision of timely, accurate, and consistent ethics advice and counsel.
Serves as senior attorney on ethics matters; responsible for reviewing, interpreting and ensuring the legal sufficiency of activities in the ethics program.
Assists the Associate General Counsel for Ethics in establishing program goals and methods for monitoring progress.
Responsible for developing, implementing and interpreting policies governing employee financial disclosure, providing direction for GSA policies and procedures regarding standards of conduct and conflicts of interest and administering the GSA-wide ethics training program.
Represents the Associate General Counsel for Ethics (Alternate Designated Agency Ethics Official) or the Deputy General Counsel (Designated Agency Ethics Official) in conferences and meetings with top level officials in GSA and other Federal departments, private industry, and State and local Government regarding ethics policy issues.
