Location: Aptos Shift Time: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

The starting pay rate for this position is $22.50 per hour, with opportunities for higher compensation based on education level.

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Full-Time Head Teacher to join our caring team. We serve children ages 2 years through Transitional Kindergarten in a warm, supportive community where children, families, and staff learn, grow, and thrive together

About the Role:

We are looking for an energetic and compassionate educator who can create a positive classroom environment where children feel safe, valued, engaged, and excited to learn each day.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of child development and best practices in early childhood education
• Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Create a structured, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities
• Collaborate effectively as part of a teaching team
• Communicate clearly and professionally with families and staff
• Be dependable, flexible, and consistent in their work
• Comfortably integrate Christian values and faith-based principles into daily classroom experiences

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development units, including courses such as:

-Child Growth and Development

-Child, Family, and Community

-Curriculum

Or equivalent coursework

• Willingness to continue coursework toward a minimum of 12 ECE units
