Empowering Children to Reach their Potential Head Instructor We are seeking Head Instructor with a fun outgoing personality and a passion for tutoring children Kindergarten to High School in Reading, Writing, and Math including Geometry and Algebra II.

Applicant must be energetic, have a great attitude, and enjoy working with children in a fun atmosphere. Most importantly, applicant must have a commitment to integrity, quality, enthusiasm, exceptional service, and teamwork.

The Tutoring Center , a national tutoring company, located in Garland, Texas has an exciting opportunity for a Head Instructor to join the team.

Job Description We are seeking a part-time Head Instructor for our center in Garland, Texas, who is comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities include:•Supervise classroom operations and ensure that all instructors adhere to The Tutoring Center’s proven system.•Analyze student progress and recommend appropriate instructional strategies and techniques.•Prepare student progress reports and communicate results to parents.•Discuss progress with teachers.•Administer Diagnostic Assessments, as needed.•Assist in the hiring and development of new instructors.•Maintain attendance records.•Implement the school marketing plan.Requirements include:•One year commitment•Completion of the franchise training program

•Available Monday – Friday, 2:30 – 7:30pm and some Saturdays as needed.

The ideal candidate for this position will hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and possess experience in the classroom or school administration. Must have proficient computer skills and further, he or she will have the following characteristics: (1) demonstrate genuine care for children and a love of learning; (2) take initiative; (3) perform duties cheerfully; (4) think creatively; (5) exhibit an outgoing personality and high enthusiasm; (6) comfortable talking with parents and teachers; (7) remain focused on constant improvement; (8) stay organized; (9) meet deadlines; and (10) Math expertise through calculus a plus.We offer our employees great part-time hours, competitive wages, and bonuses.
