Natural Language Annotator (Project Fred)

At OneForma, we are inviting qualified freelancers to participate in our new remote Natural Language Annotation project. 

 

Purpose:  

We are looking for fluent Spanish speaking language enthusiasts to help train AI systems that understand human communication. Use your expertise in vocabulary, grammar, and idioms to make AI smarter and more reliable. This is a freelance, fully remote role where you can grow your annotation and data labeling skills, while contributing directly to AI systems that understand human language. 

 

What You Will Do: 

As a Natural Language Annotator, you’ll play a key role in helping AI systems better understand how people communicate. You’ll analyze real user inputs and transform them into structured intent annotations that power accurate, reliable AI responses. You’ll complete your tasks using a secure, project-specific annotation tool with guidance and support from an experienced project team.

 

Payment & Engagement Type: 

  • Freelance / Project-based 
  • Rate per hour in USD ($) 
  • Rates will be shared with qualified candidates during the onboarding process 
  • Work reviewed for quality approval before payment 
  • Payments made via Payoneer 

 

Requirements:  

  • Fluency in Spanish with a strong knowledge of vocabulary, spelling, grammar, and idioms. 
  • Availability to contribute approximate 40 hours per month 
  • A strong focus on quality, consistency, and meeting agreed-upon turnaround times 
  • The ability to spot patterns, anomalies, or recurring issues and escalate them when needed 
  • Clear, proactive communication with the Project Manager about progress, priorities, and risks 
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow project guidelines and specifications 

 

Skills & Technical Requirements: 

  • Experience in annotation, data labeling, or language-focused projects (1+ year preferred) 
  • Academic background in Linguistics, Philology, Translation, or related field 
  • Curiosity about technology and enthusiasm for working with new tools and platforms 
  • Access to a computer running macOS 14 or later (MacBook, iMac, Mac mini, or equivalent)
