Forward Deployed Engineer

You'll own provider and payer integrations end-to-end. That means sitting in client discovery sessions with the

founders, understanding how each practice actually works, then building the integration layer (APIs, scrapers,

custom workflows) that makes Aira fit their stack. You'll also ship features on the core product when needed.

Our founding engineer owns the core platform. You own the edges where Aira meets the real world.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain integrations with practices and insurances (APIs where they exist, scrapers and RPA

where they don't)

• Join client discovery sessions with founders to map workflows and translate them into technical requirements

• Ship custom integrations fast

• Contribute to the core product when integration work isn't the bottleneck

• Develop deep working knowledge of the US provider/payer landscape (we'll ramp you)

Requirements

• 2–5 years of full-stack engineering experience

• Startup experience (small team, broad ownership, shipping under ambiguity)

• Track record of owning features or products end-to-end

• Experience integrating with third-party APIs

• You actively use AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.) and have shipped real work with them

• Strong English; you can clearly articulate problems and tradeoffs to non-technical audiences

Strong Pluses

• Experience building scrapers or RPA

• US healthcare experience

• Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS or GCP)

• AI application development beyond coding tools (LLM features in production)
