The incumbent serves as the lead over California Correctional Training and Rehabilitation Authority (CALCTRA) staff at California Men's Colony Prison. Programs include Fabric, Knitting Mill, Printing, Shoes, Healthcare Facilities Maintenance, Maintenance and Repair, Warehousing, and Office and Administration. The Administrator provides leadership, direction, and supervision of the programs with responsibility for all CALCTRA civil service and incarcerated individuals employees. The position reports to the Central Office Assistant Deputy Director, Facility Operations and serves on the Warden's Executive Staff. Employees will have regular and substantial contact with persons incarcerated in California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation institutions and/or medical facilities.

- Experience working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Computer experience: Microsoft Suite, manufacturing systems.
- Experience administering industrial programs.
- Experience with principles and practices of modern production.
- Knowledge of laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to; California Penal/Government Codes, MOU's, Title 15, and/or Title 8 (Cal/OSHA)
