Healthy Harvest Corps Member- Logan

SE Ohio Foodbank is recruiting two Healthy Harvest Corps AmeriCorps Members for distinct roles advancing “food as medicine” initiatives across Southeast Ohio. One position centers on healthcare partnerships and community referrals, connecting neighbors with food access, social services, and healthcare resources through outreach, screenings, closed-loop referral systems, and partnerships with healthcare providers and Medicaid organizations. The second position focuses on the FoodRx medically supportive grocery box program, coordinating food packing and distribution, inventory management, participant communication, and nutrition-focused food selection using Healthy Eating Research guidelines. Both roles engage directly with community members through mobile markets, school pantries, and outreach events while building experience in public health, nutrition, community engagement, communication, and program operations.
