Time Commitment: 5–10 hours/week (flexible) for 6 months

The Role:

Help take complex science/medical content and translate it into engaging, easy-to-understand scripts for TikTok and YouTube Shorts.

Expected Responsibilities:

Translate dense medical science into simple, engaging hooks and scripts.

Brainstorm and develop content optimized for short-form video.

Participate in weekly Zoom/email check-ins and meet independent deadlines.

Specific Skills Looked For:

Science Communication: Ability to explain medical jargon in everyday language.

Video Savvy: Understanding of current short-form video trends and pacing.

Self-Management: Highly organized, reliable, and resourceful.

Minimum Requirements:

Current pre-med student (undergrad, post-bac, or gap-year).

Strong interest in medical education or public health.

Reliable computer/internet and ability to commit to the full 6 months.
