Position Title: Marketing & Administrative Intern

Location: Remote (with weekly check ins)
Hours: Flexible, approximately 20 hours per week
Internship Type: This is an unpaid internship, but intern receives a $ 100 “Thank You” bonus at completion of semester.

We are looking for a versatile, self-motivated intern who enjoys wearing multiple hats and is excited to help grow a small business through both creative marketing and organized administrative support.

Position Overview

This role combines marketing, social media, research, sales support, and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate is both creative and detail-oriented, comfortable creating content one moment and organizing spreadsheets the next.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in entrepreneurship, marketing, wellness brands, e-commerce, public relations, and small business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing & Social Media

Create engaging content for social media platforms

Assist with content planning and scheduling

Write captions, blog posts, newsletters, and promotional copy

Research social media trends and marketing opportunities

Help grow brand awareness and audience engagement

Assist with influencer outreach and partnership opportunities

Monitor social media analytics and recommend improvements

Website & E-Commerce Administration

Update website content and product information

Assist with website organization and maintenance

Monitor inventory information and product descriptions

Help optimize product pages and customer experience

Research & Product Development Support

Research tea ingredients, health benefits, and nutritional information

Compare supplier, packaging, and ingredient pricing

Research sustainable sourcing options

Assist with competitor and market research

Compile findings into organized reports and recommendations

Sales & Promotion Support might include:

Research potential wholesale accounts and retail partners, Assist with lead generation and outreach, Help organize promotional campaigns and special offers, Track sales opportunities and customer inquiries, Assist with event and trade show preparation when applicable

Public Relations might include:

Research podcast, media, and publicity opportunities, Help develop media lists and outreach materials, Assist with press releases and media pitches, Identify collaboration opportunities with aligned brands and creators

Administrative Support

Organize digital files and business documents, Maintain spreadsheets and project trackers, Assist with email management and follow-up, Help manage deadlines and project timelines, Support general day-to-day business operations

Looking for someone who is or has:

Strong written communication skills

Excellent organizational skills

Detail-oriented and self-motivated

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Comfortable learning new software and systems

Interest in wellness, tea, travel, lifestyle, or entrepreneurship

Preferred

Experience with social media platforms

Familiarity with Canva or graphic design tools

Experience with website platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, or Wix

Marketing, communications, journalism, business, or related coursework

Basic knowledge of spreadsheets and project management tools
