We are currently looking for a high-energy, Jr. Business Developer who is interested in pursuing a career in Federal Government Contract capture and sales. You will be given the opportunity to learn the Federal Government sector capture and sales process and be mentored and trained to understand concepts like qualifying opportunities and proposal capture process. You will assist in creation of capture plans, interact with potential customer(s) and industry partners, qualify opportunities, and learn to identify opportunities toward a high win probability. You will support capture/proposal efforts associated with INCATech's key practice areas: Geospatial Information Systems, Cloud & Platform Services, User Centered Design, and Enterprise Data Management. Above all, the most important factor is a thirst for knowledge and a desire to learn and grow in the Federal Government sales cycle, as well as a drive for success! Work Location: Onsite, Plaza America, Reston, VA
Responsibilities:
- Be part of a team and assist in the development and implementation of all aspects of the Capture Plan, including Win Strategy, Price to Win, etc.
- Strong desire to learn to identify and qualify opportunities, based on a strategic Capture Plan
- Be part of a team that develops customer requirements influencing strategy, and interprets capture/proposal requirements and solution generation.
- Have the opportunity to engage in customer facing stakeholder management providing updates to the management team, including timely escalation of issues or concerns needing resolution.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Communications or related field.
- Strong desire to learn Federal Government Contracting industry.
- Excellent Written and Communications skills.
- Any work experience in which Customer Satisfaction and learning Customers' needs is crucial to success.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Any experience within the Government Contracting field in a Sales, Proposal, Capture, Marketing, Communications capacity is a plus however not required.
