CTE Teacher/Network Coordinator

Lake Quinault School District seeks a Career and Technical Education (CTE) instructor to deliver engaging, hands-on learning through technology, classroom instruction, and interactive lab projects. This dual-role position combines teaching responsibilities (Computer Applications, ROV, Careers, Yearbook, etc.) with network coordination duties. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in both instructional design and technical network management.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching Duties: Plan and implement appropriate instructional strategies and activities, develop and adapt educational materials to meet diverse student needs, assess student abilities and achievement, help students build decision-making skills and value diversity, and maintain effective classroom management and discipline procedures.

Network Coordination: Maintain all district network hardware and software, monitor network systems, manage technology inventory, and coordinate with professional staff to maximize learning opportunities through technology integration.

Student Support: Work collaboratively with parents on educational needs, provide age-appropriate communication about progress, ensure safe and conducive learning environments, and collaborate with guidance counselors and librarians on school-wide activities.

Qualifications

  • Hold or be in process of obtaining a teaching certificate
  • Hold or obtain CTE endorsement 
  • Basic knowledge and experience with network coordination
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
