Operations and Sales Intern

About Us

We're a fast-growing, celebrity-backed consumer packaged goods (CPG) startup in the health and wellness space. Our products span functional hydration and wellness — and they're already on shelves nationwide through major retail and specialty channels (big-box, specialty wellness, airport retail, and natural grocery), alongside a growing direct-to-consumer and social commerce business.

We're founder-led and backed by nationally recognized entertainment and pro-sports partners. We're small, fast, and scaling from direct-to-consumer into national retail — which means a team where what you do actually moves the business. The Role

This is a founding-team-level internship that sits at the intersection of operations and sales. You'll work directly with the founder and get an end-to-end view of how a celebrity-backed CPG brand actually runs — from the moment a retailer places an order to the moment a buyer says yes to a new account.

This is not a coffee-and-filing internship. You'll own real workflows, talk to real accounts, and help us build the systems that let a lean team punch far above its weight. If you like ambiguity, speed, and ownership, you'll thrive here.

What You'll Do

Operations (~50%)

  • Process retail and distributor orders (UNFI, GNC, The Vitamin Shoppe) and generate the paperwork that goes with them — purchase orders, bills of lading, packing slips, and invoices.
  • Track inventory and coordinate with co-manufacturers, packaging suppliers, and freight/3PL partners to keep product flowing.
  • Support retail onboarding for new accounts and SKUs (item setup, vendor portals, compliance and label documentation).
  • Reconcile distributor remittances and keep our operational dashboards clean and current.
  • Help document and automate repeatable processes so we can scale without scaling headcount.

Sales (~50%)

  • Research and build targeted lists of retail buyers, accounts, and partners.
  • Support cold outreach campaigns end to end — email sequences, sample sends, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain our CRM and keep the sales pipeline organized and up to date.
  • Help coordinate TikTok Shop affiliate and influencer outreach tied to our celebrity partnerships.
  • Prepare sales decks, line sheets, and samples for buyer meetings and pitches.
  • Assist with trade shows, retail activations, and in-store/marketing events.

Who We're Looking For

Required

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate (any year/major welcome).
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented — you don't drop balls.
  • Strong written communication; comfortable drafting outreach and talking to external partners.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and a fast startup pace; you take initiative without waiting to be told.
  • Proficient with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) and a quick learner with new tools.

Preferred (nice to have, not required)

  • Genuine interest in CPG, retail, wellness, e-commerce, or entrepreneurship.
  • Experience with CRMs, Shopify, or e-commerce/social platforms.
  • Familiarity with TikTok and creator/affiliate marketing.
  • Bonus: comfort with automation or no-code tools — we love teammates who automate their own work.
