About the role
We’re looking for a Shipping & Assembly Associate to assemble and package finished products for shipment, process orders through UPS shipping systems, stage completed orders for pickup, and shrink-wrap cartons or pallets as needed. You’ll perform final quality checks, complete required documentation, and help ensure accurate, on-time shipment of finished goods.
Hours: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-3:30pm, Friday 6:00am-3:00pm
Responsibilities
- Assemble finished products according to work instructions, drawings, or order requirements.
- Package finished products to prevent damage in transit by selecting appropriate cartons, dunnage, labels, and packaging methods.
- Process shipments using UPS systems (ship/manifest, labeling, and documentation) and verify shipment details match the order.
- Stage completed orders for pickup/shipping and maintain an organized flow of finished goods.
- Shrink-wrap cartons or pallets as needed to secure shipments and protect product.
- Perform final quality checks to confirm correct product, quantity, labeling, and packaging; ensure only conforming product is shipped.
- Complete required documentation and system transactions accurately (pack lists, shipping paperwork, and quality records as applicable).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; follow standard work and safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in assembly, packing, or shipping/receiving in a manufacturing or warehouse environment (preferred).
- Ability to follow work instructions and perform basic quality checks.
- Ability to accurately complete shipping and production documentation.
- Basic computer skills for shipping/label transactions.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with UPS shipping systems and label generation.
- Experience shrink-wrapping cartons or pallets.
