Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team on our weekend shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and shape sheet metal components according to specifications. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints effectively. The Press Brake Operator will ensure that all products meet quality standards while strictly adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate press brake machines to perform bending operations on sheet metal.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and tolerances.
  • Conduct quality inspections of finished products using calipers and other measuring tools.
  • Program the press brake machine as needed for various production runs.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety procedures.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading
  • Strong basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
  • Experience with quality inspection processes to ensure product integrity.
  • Previous experience working with sheet metal is highly desirable.

Shift Schedule:
Weekend Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM, Friday through Sunday (work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours)
