Human Resources Intern- Fall 2026

What You Will Be Doing

You will assist in updating employee records, audits and reporting, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and gaining exposure to various HR functions like payroll, recruitment, and employee onboarding. This role provides an opportunity for individuals to gain practical experience and insights into HR operations.

Responsibilities

1. Create new hire packets and ensure insurance and beneficiary forms are returned

2. Coordinate and monitor employee recognition and anniversary awards.

3. Monthly and yearly reporting.

4. Identify and coordinate job fairs and local school opportunities.

5. Track applicants and assist with interview coordination and onboarding.

6. Coordinate and monitor compliance testing at each facility.

7. Liaison with the operations team to ensure our truck drivers’ documents are current.

8. Update and maintain the organizational chart.
