Are you an experienced inventory professional with leadership experience and a passion for operational excellence? We are seeking an Inventory Supervisor to oversee daily inventory operations, support inventory accuracy, and lead inventory personnel in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment in Sugar Land, Texas.
This position is responsible for supervising inventory transactions, inventory control activities, cycle counts, material handling processes, and inventory personnel while ensuring operational efficiency and inventory accuracy across multiple shifts and departments.

Location
Sugar Land, Texas
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily inventory transactions, including Goods Issue (GI) and Goods Receipt (GR) activities
Lead and support inventory personnel in daily operational activities
Monitor inventory accuracy and maintain inventory integrity throughout operations
Coordinate and oversee cycle counts, inventory audits, and physical inventory activities
Utilize inventory management systems to process transactions and monitor inventory movement
Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions
Coordinate staffing and workflow priorities to support operational demands
Ensure materials are properly received, stored, handled, and documented according to company procedures
Maintain organized inventory storage areas and ensure compliance with safety requirements
Partner with warehouse, production, planning, and leadership teams to support operational goals
Assist with inventory process improvements and efficiency initiatives
Identify and communicate operational risks, inventory concerns, and process issues to leadership
Qualifications
Associate degree or higher preferred
Minimum of 3 years of inventory, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain experience preferred
1-2 years of supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience preferred
Experience managing inventory accuracy and inventory control processes
Experience with inventory management systems preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on inventory accuracy
Ability to support multi-shift operations in a dynamic environment
Experience handling electronic components or manufacturing inventory is a plus
