Substitute Teacher/Guide

Ridge and Valley Charter School is a K-8 public elementary school with a mission of educating children for a hopeful, sustainable future. Curriculum is project-based experiential education with students and staff spending significant time outdoors. 

We are currently looking for substitute teachers. Substitutes must have a NJ teacher's certification or NJ substitute certification and be comfortable working with children in outdoor settings. If an applicant does not currently possess an NJ substitute certification, our school's Substitute Coordinator can provide more details on the certification process and help get them started. 

At present, the NJ department of Education accepts substitute applicants who have acquired at least 30 credits. Please contact our school's Substitute Coordinator for more details on this process.
