Position Summary

We are seeking a creative and reliable Photography Coach & Mentor to work one-on-one with an adult photography enthusiast and aspiring photographer.

This position is ideal for photography, art, media, education, psychology, or human development students who enjoy teaching and mentoring others.

The coach will support the client in developing photography skills through community-based photography outings, camera practice, photo composition, and basic editing activities.

This is a unique opportunity for photography students, art majors, aspiring photographers, and creative professionals who enjoy teaching and mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one photography instruction 
• Transport client to photography locations 
• Support photography outings at parks, community events, nature areas, and other approved locations 
• Teach camera operation and photography techniques 
• Assist with photo selection and basic editing activities 
• Encourage creativity, independence, and skill development 
• Provide clear structure and guidance during outings 
• Complete brief session notes after each shift 

Qualifications

Preferred:

• Photography, Art, Graphic Design, Media, or related coursework 
• Experience teaching, coaching, mentoring, or working with youth/adults 
• Strong communication skills 
• Patience and professionalism 
• Valid driver's license 
• Reliable vehicle 
• Current automobile insurance 

No prior disability experience required. Training will be provided.

Schedule

Part-Time

Schedule will be based on client needs and coach availability.

Potential for ongoing assignments with additional clients.

Pay

$22.00 – $23.00 per hour

Depending on experience.
