Social Media Manager
We’re looking for a highly creative, self-motivated Social Media Manager to help grow The Giving Game across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms. This person will be responsible for turning podcast interviews and event content into engaging short-form content that drives views, followers, donations, and guest opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute a social media content strategy across all platforms.
- Edit and publish short-form video clips from podcast interviews and events.
- Write engaging captions, hooks, and calls-to-action.
- Identify trending audio, formats, and content opportunities.
- Create graphics, carousels, stories, and promotional content.
- Manage posting schedules and maintain a consistent content calendar.
- Monitor analytics and provide recommendations for growth.
- Engage with followers, guests, nonprofits, and partner organizations.
- Help promote fundraising campaigns and special events.
- Collaborate directly with the founder to develop new content ideas and audience growth strategies.
Qualifications
- Experience managing social media accounts with proven growth results.
- Strong video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar).
- Understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and social media trends.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Passion for storytelling, philanthropy, sports, entrepreneurship, and making a positive impact.
Preferred Qualifications
- Podcast or media industry experience.
- Experience working with athletes, influencers, nonprofits, or personal brands.
- Graphic design experience (Canva, Photoshop, etc.).
- Knowledge of fundraising and cause-marketing campaigns.
