Multi-Line Insurance Sales Producer

Position Overview:

The Multi-Line Producer is responsible for generating new business and managing client relationships across Commercial, Personal Lines, and Health & Benefits insurance. This role focuses on prospecting within targeted markets, providing risk management guidance, and coordinating closely with internal service teams to ensure profitable, well-structured business and a high-quality client experience.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify target market segments for commercial insurance sales and develop prospecting criteria.
  • Make prospecting calls assigned by the sales manager and independently, as needed, to achieve sales goals established by the Sales Manager.
  • Actively participate in trade associations and professional organizations within targeted industries.
  • Promote Carroll Insurance Agency and the insurance industry within the community.

Client & Account Management

  • Obtain and complete insurance applications and forward all necessary information to the Sales Manager, Account Manager, or Marketing Specialist to market accounts with insurance carriers.
  • Provide risk management advice and insurance guidance to prospects and clients.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to ensure client satisfaction and identify changes in coverage needs.
  • Deliver insurance policies to clients within two weeks of receipt from service personnel.

Carrier & Internal Coordination

  • Work with Account Managers and/or Marketing Specialists to negotiate pricing, coverage terms, commissions, and prepare proposals.
  • Coordinate with service teams to ensure business is written accurately and in compliance with agency and carrier guidelines.
  • Make financial arrangements with clients to ensure timely premium collection.
  • Partner with Account Managers and Accounting to resolve billing or collection issues.
  • Collaborate with Claims Specialists to support prompt and effective claim resolution.

Growth & Development

  • Cross-sell additional lines of business, including personal lines, bonds, financial services, and Health & Benefits solutions.
  • Pursue ongoing personal and professional development through education, designations, and industry involvement.

Qualifications

  • College degree preferred; professional insurance designation encouraged.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the insurance industry.
  • Active Texas Property & Casualty License and Group I License required.
  • Thorough knowledge of insurance coverages and applications.
  • Proven ability to prospect, build relationships, and close sales.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and professional in appearance and conduct.
  • Willing and able to travel as required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
