Marketing Intern

About the Role:

Adenus Technologies LLC is the leading supplier of decentralized wastewater equipment, headquartered in Smyrna, TN. We are looking for a creative and driven Marketing Intern to join our Sales and Marketing team for the summer. This is a meaningful, hands-on internship where you will contribute to live projects across graphic design, digital marketing, content creation, and sales support. You will work directly with the VP of Sales and Marketing and gain real-world experience in B2C marketing.

What You’ll Do:

• Support the development and execution of social media content across platforms, contributing ideas for campaigns, posts, and engagement strategies.
• Assist with email marketing efforts, including drafting content, helping shape campaign strategies, and tracking performance.
• Create and update graphic design assets such as product specification sheets, branded print materials, signage, and digital ads.
• Contribute to SEO initiatives, including keyword research, content optimization, and performance reporting.
• Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all materials and channels.
• Provide administrative support to executive leadership and management staff.

What We’re Looking For:

• Currently enrolled in a college program in Marketing, Graphic Design, Advertising, or a related field. Any year welcome.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat Pro (required).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Self-starter who can manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Creative thinker who is eager to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to the table.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content best practices.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles is a plus.

Compensation & Details:

• $18/hour, eligibility for increase after key performance milestones are met.
• In-person at our Smyrna, TN office.
• Expected duration: June – August (end date flexible).
