We’re a small, fast-moving team with ambitious growth goals, and we’re looking for our first dedicated marketing hire to build and scale our marketing engine.
The Role
We’re hiring a Founding Marketing Manager to own and execute OpenWrench’s entire marketing program end-to-end.
This is a highly hands-on, strategic and execution-oriented role. You’ll define our positioning, build our demand generation engine, and create programs that directly drive pipeline and revenue.
You’ll work closely with sales and leadership to turn market insights into measurable growth.
What You’ll Do
- Design and execute multi-channel marketing programs to drive qualified pipeline
- Own organic and paid acquisition across Google, LinkedIn, and industry channels, continuously optimizing CAC and conversion
- Partner with sales to align messaging, targeting, and outbound campaigns
- Develop content strategy for operators, facilities leaders, and multi-location businesses
- Create and manage case studies, blog posts, whitepapers, and email campaigns
- Turn customer insights into compelling narratives and ROI-driven messaging
- Drive pre- and post-event campaigns to maximize pipeline generation
- Refine OpenWrench’s positioning and messaging across website, sales materials, and campaigns
- Set up and manage marketing tools including CRM, attribution, email automation, and analytics
- Track campaign performance and report on pipeline contribution
- Continuously experiment and iterate based on data
Who You Are
- 2+ years in marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS or vertical software
- Experience owning end-to-end marketing or a major channel such as content or ads
- Comfortable operating as a player-coach across both strategy and execution
- Strong writing and storytelling skills
- Data-driven and analytical, with experience measuring marketing performance
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple programs simultaneously
- Excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment with ambiguity
Nice to Have:
- Experience marketing to operations, facilities, retail, or franchise businesses
- Experience with event marketing or field marketing
- Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Sanity (or other headless CMS), Google Ads, and LinkedIn Ads
