IT Director
Lean IT Inc. is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking IT Director to lead our technology operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity initiatives, and strategic IT planning. The IT Director will play a critical leadership role in aligning technology investments with business objectives while ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of enterprise systems.
This position is ideal for a technology leader who enjoys driving innovation, mentoring teams, managing complex projects, and building technology strategies that support long-term organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the organization's IT strategy, roadmap, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Lead all aspects of IT operations, including infrastructure, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, networking, and technical support services.
- Establish and maintain IT governance, security policies, and operational best practices.
- Oversee system performance, uptime, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity efforts.
- Manage cybersecurity programs, risk assessments, vulnerability management, and compliance initiatives.
- Partner with executive leadership to identify technology opportunities that improve business outcomes.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Direct enterprise technology projects from planning through implementation and post-launch support.
- Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, software licensing, and technology procurement.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets while ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Lead, mentor, and support IT managers, engineers, analysts, and support staff.
- Create a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 2+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, networking, and systems administration.
- Experience managing cross-functional technology projects and enterprise technology implementations.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management principles, and compliance standards.
- Proven ability to lead teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, ITIL, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or equivalent.
- Experience leading cloud migration, digital transformation, and enterprise modernization initiatives.
- Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, or other relevant compliance frameworks.
