About the Role
We are looking for a detail‑oriented, polished, and professional Medical Assistant with strong interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal candidate is adaptable, calm under pressure, and able to prioritize effectively in a dynamic clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Review medical records and prepare exam rooms
- Room patients and take vital signs
- Record patient medical histories accurately
- Assist with patient communication and education
- Obtain authorizations and coordinate with insurance
- Support providers and staff with general clinical and administrative tasks
Qualifications
- Completion of a Medical Assistant training program
- 1–2 years of hands‑on MA experience required
- Prior Orthopedic or Spine Surgery experience is a plus, but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer literacy; EMR experience is a plus
- Professional, reliable, and patient‑focused
